The SA Government has asked the Commission to investigate and report on potential models that would increase the transparency of fuel prices and enable consumers to make informed choices when purchasing fuel. The commissioned report is to have regard to models used in other jurisdictions, the SA regulatory arrangements for fuel pricing and recommend the most cost effective solution for increasing the transparency of fuel pricing in South Australia.
