The Commission seeks evidence and experience, as well as views on the matters identified in the Premier’s letter. It is also interested to learn of other matters relevant to the terms of reference that are not well understood.

The Commission will publish every submission it receives on its website unless it is determined by the Commission as being confidential, offensive, potentially defamatory, beyond the scope of the inquiry's terms of reference, or an abuse of process.

Confidential submissions are addressed in detail on How to Make a Submission page. This approach supports the Commission’s commitment to transparency, and enables other parties interested in the inquiry to consider contributors' views unless there is a valid reason why those views should not be shared beyond the Commission.

Next steps

Following consideration of all submissions received, the Commission will submit a final report to the Premier on 18 March 2020 detailing evidence, key findings and final recommendations.
