Final Report

This review focused on regulations relating to nature-based and agritourism sectors and was part of the broader Modern Regulation project, which aims to identify reforms to assist the South Australian Government in improving the performance of the state’s regulatory system.

The review made recommendations to improve regulatory practice relevant to nature-based and agritourism businesses by removing barriers and inefficiencies without compromising the various public interests that the regulators protect.

SAPC thanks the tourism regulators and operators, industry associations and businesses, state government agencies and other stakeholders for supporting SAPC's work through their sharing of important information and data, and active collaborations throughout the review process.

Timeline

The final report was delivered to the Premier on 28 October 2021 and was published on 27 January 2022.
