Jim Hallion has been appointed a Commissioner to support the Commission’s inquiry into the reform of South Australia’s regulatory framework.

Mr Hallion has significant experience leading various South Australian Government departments and brings extensive knowledge of policy and regulation development and regulator performance to the role.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Honours) and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. His Membership in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AM) (2017) was for significant service to public administration in South Australia, particularly transport infrastructure, energy and agriculture.
