The Commission has released an issues paper on the Inquiry into Health and Medical Research and Development. At the launch on Friday, 13 March 2020 of two new inquiries into Research and Development held at SAHMRI, Dr Matthew Butlin, Chair of the SAPC said, “ Today’s turnout demonstrates our research and wider industry interest in lifting South Australia’s research performance, and the importance of doing so to South Australia’s productivity and living standards. I greatly appreciate the interest in the inquiries, and look forward to receiving submissions”.

The issues paper outlining the Commission’s approach to the inquiry, our understanding of key issues at this time and the timeline for submissions is now available. We encourage interested parties to make a submission by 8 May 2020.

Following further consultation, a draft report will be published in July 2020.
