The Commission has released its draft report (Text amended) into research and development. This follows extensive consultation since the release of the inquiry issues paper in March 2020.

The Commission seeks feedback and further evidence from interested parties in response to its initial conclusions and draft recommendations to government.  The draft report also incorporates a number of specific information requests.

Further written submissions are invited on the draft report. These submissions may address any of the issues covered by the inquiry terms of reference.
